It is important to stimulate the brain and get creative which is very important to your overall health. Get back into painting, drawing, or any other hobbies suited for home whilst staying indoors.


 
After struggling with chronic illness through her teen and
young adult years, Lauren forged her own path to wellness.
Yoga, meditation, acupuncture, massage and shelves of
books were key to the success of Lauren's journey.

MEDITATION & YOGA

"I start every morning by meditating on 'breathe of fire' for two minutes. It is a powerful breathe that allows you to release and set intentions for the day. I follow this with 10 minutes of Kundalini Yoga to rebalance and energise. My absolute favourite instructor is Lucy Keaveney. After my practice with Lucy, I feel lighter and brighter. Zephyr Wildman is my go to when I am looking for a slower practice. Her classes are transformational to my mood."

"My favourite skincare brand is de Mamiel. Each product is handmade and contains 100% natural and organic ingredients. I use the seasonal facial oil every night before bed, it is the ultimate in self indulgence! Feeling good on the outside is key to keeping healthy on the inside.

I also love to take baths when time allows with essential oils, salts, candles and a yoga nirdri to relax to. It helps me to be present, clear my busy brain and give my head some much needed space."

Without my daily commute I'm finding it hard to find the time for podcasts, but my go-to's are Fearne Cotton 'Happy Place' and Oprah's 'Super Soul Conversations."

It's the only way that I am actually able to unwind fully before bed. Our new linen pj's are my go-to's for warmer nights in the spring and summer. The new Dawn colour is perfection!

When I wake up I love to do a morning burn. I usually sage to clean the space! I absolutely love the smell of Palo Santo so when I have it, it is a nice change."

At the moment, I am isolating in Norfolk, so I am grateful to be enjoying local produce and supporting the local farms."
